This project was a heartfelt commission from a client who wanted to give her grandparents a truly unique and meaningful gift for their anniversary. Inspired by the traditional "Lotería Mexicana" game, I created a fully personalized version that celebrated their love story, family traditions, inside jokes and shared memories.
This project was a heartfelt commission from a client who wanted to give her grandparents a truly unique and meaningful gift for their anniversary. Inspired by the traditional "Lotería Mexicana" game, I created a fully personalized version that celebrated their love story, family traditions, inside jokes and shared memories.
I led the entire design process—from concept to final print. I worked closely with the client to understand her family’s history, values, and symbols that made her grandparents’ relationship special. Each card was custom illustrated with icons that represented significant people, places, and moments in their lives. The color palette, typography, and layout were thoughtfully chosen to blend cultural tradition with personal storytelling.
The design extended beyond the cards—I also created the packaging, including a custom box that made the unboxing experience just as special. Every element was carefully crafted to evoke emotion and nostalgia, while honoring the cultural roots of the game.
